Frisco police apprehend teacher on child injury charges

The Frisco Police Department has arrested Patricia Kemper, 54, a teacher employed at McSpedden Elementary School, following an investigation into allegations of a physical assault involving a student.

Frisco ISD notified the Frisco Police Department of the assault allegations, and upon receiving the report, the department immediately opened a criminal investigation in coordination with the school district. That investigation ultimately led to Kemper’s arrest.

Kemper has been charged with Injury to a Child, a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine. After charges were filed, Kemper turned herself in to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week…
