A North Texas suburb known for its wineries and historic downtown now has another distinction: it’s the most expensive city in Texas to rent a single-family home.
According to a new analysis by rental data platform Rentometer, Grapevine ranks as the most expensive Texas city for renters looking for three-bedroom single-family homes, while Copperas Cove, a Central Texas city near Fort Cavazos (formerly known as Fort Hood) was identified as the cheapest place in the state for the same type of rental. The study analyzed median rents in cities with populations of at least 25,000.
