FRISCO, Texas — Automated license plate readers are becoming increasingly common in law enforcement across Texas, providing officers with a tool they say helps solve crimes more quickly.
The Frisco Police Department is among the agencies using the technology, which allows officers to identify vehicles connected to crimes by scanning license plate information.
