Frisco’s ice cream scene is about to get another serious contender. Little Moose Creamery, a family-run soft-serve shop, is slated to open this summer at 5501 Preston Road, Suite 120, in a roughly 1,200-square-foot space. The shop plans to scoop premium soft-serve and traditional ice cream, roll out homemade waffle cones, and offer dairy-free options, all in what the owners describe as a cozy, family-friendly hangout for neighbors and families.
Co-owner Cecile Luk told What Now Dallas that the idea was born out of the couple’s travels and their young daughter’s love of moose and ice cream, calling the upcoming debut a dream come true. Luk said the menu will lean on staple flavors like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cookies & cream, with a rotating cast of seasonal picks such as matcha, salted caramel, mango, piña colada and London fog. New flavors are set to roll out monthly. She added that toppings will be hand-selected, waffle cones will be made in-house, and a dairy-free frozen option will be part of the regular lineup.
State records show the tenant finish-out for Little Moose Creamery registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation began on Jan. 15, with a scheduled completion date of May 15. The filing outlines a roughly 1,200-square-foot build-out with an estimated cost of $198,000 and lists Cecile Luk as the tenant and Eminence Design Build as the design firm, according to the agency’s project record. On paper, at least, that timeline puts the shop on track for the summer crowds.

The shop touts natural flavorings and a family-first approach to service. The site also highlights vegan-friendly options and a plan to roll out new monthly flavors that blend Asian-inspired tastes with classic American sweets.
