SHERMAN, Texas — A McKinney man has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for his role in a gun store robbery that resulted in the theft of dozens of firearms, officials said.
22-year-old Brandon Elliott Bennett Jr. pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal from a federal firearms licensee and theft from a federal firearms licensee. He was sentenced April 7, 2026, to 87 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant.
