A late-night gathering in Pleasant Grove turned deadly today when a man was found shot to death in the parking lot of an event center in southeast Dallas.
Dallas police were called around 2:30 a.m. to the 1900 block of South Buckner Boulevard, where officers found a man with gunshot wounds lying near a vehicle. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Witnesses told investigators they heard a disturbance, then gunfire, and saw a man dressed in what appeared to be a security uniform leave the area right after the shots rang out.
Investigators Work the Scene for Clues
