A Texas man is in custody after authorities say he used dishonored checks to make purchases at businesses in northeast Arkansas.
Roberto Jose Flores, 45, of Irving, Texas, is charged with second-degree forgery and theft of $25,000 or more, according to a bench warrant.
The investigation began Jan. 9, 2024, when the Denton County Sheriff’s Office in Texas notified Jonesboro Cycle and ATV of a statewide “be on the lookout” alert for a suspect wanted on forgery and theft allegations.
