Play Frisco, the parks and recreation department for the north Dallas suburb of Frisco, has announced the lineup of regional artists for its annual Nocturne art trail event, to take place on the evenings of Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9.
Described in a press release as “part community gathering, part contemplative art walk,” Nocturne invites members of the public to interact with contemporary art in an urban park environment.
For the second year of the nighttime event, Nocturne will be produced by the Dallas-based public arts organization Aurora. A one-mile trail in 63-acre Frisco Commons Park will be transformed into an outdoor gallery with light, video, and sound installations by 20 North Texas artists.
