Slap Burger Bar closed its doors in April, making it the fourth Fry Street business to close down this year and adding to a growing list of closures in the university area.
Slap Burger employees were notified on the same day of the closure during a team meeting on April 14. Crooked Crust, another Fry Street restaurant operated by the same owner Taylor Clymer, had shut down one month prior and multiple employees said they began to speculate similar reasons for both closures.
