Stonebriar Centre’s Keeps Curfew For Minors After Successful First Weekend

Stonebriar Centre is continuing its new Saturday evening curfew policy for minors after mall officials say the first weekend of enforcement proved effective.

The temporary policy, known as the “Parental Guidance Required” program, was introduced on May 9 in response to what the mall described as disruptive and unsupervised gatherings involving youth visitors.

According to a spokesperson for the mall, the program will remain in effect again this weekend after a successful rollout during its first implementation.

How The Policy Works

Under the guidelines, guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older on Saturdays beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing through closing. One adult may accompany up to four minors but must stay with the group throughout the visit…
