Spice Storm Hits Allen as Monks Indian Fusion Fires Up Noodles and Biryani

The Monks Indian Fusion quietly slipped into the Allen dining scene last Friday, opening a compact new outpost along the Exchange Parkway retail strip and bringing a mashup of Indian classics with Chinese-style noodles and fried rice. On the menu are tandoor plates, momos, biryanis, wok-tossed noodle bowls and saucier Indo-Chinese entrées, giving North Collin County one more casual spot built around shareable, spice-forward dinners.

According to Community Impact, the business announced the opening via an Instagram post and lists its address as 790 W. Exchange Parkway, Ste. 140 in Allen. The outlet reports the eatery opened May 15 and that its menu features Chinese entrées such as chili garlic and Sichuan home-style dishes alongside Indian staples like tikka masala, butter masala and vindaloo.

The business’s website calls the concept a celebration of tradition, passion and creativity, and lists tandoor dishes, momos and soups among its core offerings. Diners can expect a mix of saucy stir-fries and classic curry plates designed with sharing in mind.
