OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – A Marion County man was booked in the Marion County Jail on Saturday after threatening his girlfriend with a machete and beating her over the head, reports say.
Law enforcement said the victim was distressed and emotional when they arrived. She showed officers a video of her arguing with Cody Bevington, 37, saying she would break up with him. In response, he said, “I’ll beat you to death right now b****.”
