DUNNELLON, Fla. (WCJB) — A 2-year-old child is dead after drowning over Memorial Day weekend, Marion County sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies said 911 callers reported Arturo Martinez, 2, was not breathing after falling into a pool on Northwest 18th Place in Dunnellon on Saturday.
Arturo’s father pulled him from the pool and attempted CPR. Sheriff’s deputies intercepted the mother driving the toddler to the hospital and then took over CPR until EMS crews arrived…
