Ocala woman accused of pushing 2 carts of unpaid merchandise out of Walmart

A 20-year-old Ocala woman was arrested after she allegedly stole over $700 worth of items from a local Walmart during two separate trips in the same afternoon.

On Sunday, May 24, Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Walmart located at 34 Bahia Avenue in Ocala in reference to a grand theft incident, according to the arrest report.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a loss prevention associate who advised that the suspect, identified as Breyanna Patricia Amore Montgomery, had reportedly attempted to exit the store’s automotive department with a shopping cart full of unpaid merchandise at around 1:20 p.m…
