Developers hope to bring 2,700-unit neighborhood with a 200-acre farm to Alachua County

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) – Developers with The Roberts Company are hoping to bring a new development to Alachua County that would include homes, apartments, businesses and a 200-acre working farm.

The Everlee Project is planned to be a 2,700-unit neighborhood off Parker Road which would blend residential and agricultural space across 900 acres.

The neighborhood will sit on a 4,000 acre property. About 2,600 of those acres are under UF/IFAS stewardship. 500 acres are designated for the future UF golf course. The neighborhood itself will only be 900 acres in size and will feature a 200 acre farm…
