GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Handy Roman Ford Jr., 46, was arrested yesterday for allegedly selling crack cocaine to a confidential source in February.
In early February 2026, a Gainesville Police Department officer working with the Gainesville Alachua County Drug Task Force used a confidential source to conduct a controlled purchase of approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine from Ford in a parking lot at the intersection of NW 13th Street and NW 39th Avenue.
