A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison after a Marion County jury found him guilty of the 2024 premeditated murder of an Ocala resident.
On Thursday, June 18, jurors delivered a guilty verdict against Blayze Jurrien White for premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm in the death of 24-year-old Derrick Lysander Brown Jr.
Following the verdict, White was immediately sentenced to life in prison.
