Woman dead, child injured in separate central Florida alligator attacks

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman died and a child was hospitalized with injuries sustained in separate alligator attacks in central Florida over the weekend.

The incidents happened just days after a snorkeler was bitten by an alligator along the Rainbow River in Marion County. The man was taken to the hospital for his injuries and was later released.
