GAINESVILLE, Fla. – David Zovon Smith, 45, was arrested yesterday for allegedly throwing a glass shard at a woman who was trying to help him because he is homeless.
The victim told the responding Gainesville Police Department officer that at about 8:30 a.m. on July 9, she saw Smith at the back of her property and wanted to reach out to him to provide help because he is homeless. She said she had known Smith for several months…
