5-Star Receiver Easton Royal Flipped His Commitment To Florida
The Florida Gators have landed a major recruiting victory, as Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Easton Royal has flipped his commitment from the Texas Longhorns to the Gators.
Royal’s status as a Five-Star Plus+ prospect places him among the most highly regarded recruits in the country. His decision to switch from Texas to Florida gives the Gators a major boost at wide receiver. It also provides the program with another elite prospect to build around for the future.
Royal is the No. 2-ranked receiver in the country according to 247Sports and is coming off of a monstrous junior year. He earned 5A Offensive MVP and first-team all-state selection by the Louisiana Football Coaches Association. He also gained 2,095 all-purpose yards and scored 29 total TDs.
