GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Butler Plaza in Gainesville is upping its security presence by bringing an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office precinct to the area. According to Alachua County Sheriff’s Office officials, it was provided by Butler Plaza to deter crime in the shopping plaza. They say that deputies will use the precinct to do paperwork, conduct interviews, and more.
