GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A woman was shot this evening at Sweetwater on 16th. At about 9:28 p.m., Gainesville Police Department officers responded to a report that a person was shot in the area of 200 SE 16th Avenue. Officers found a woman who had been shot in the stomach; she was transported to a local hospital.
