GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The class of 2024 Early Signing Period — when the Gators signed 17 prospects from the high school level and five total transfers — might be in the rearview mirror, but the NCAA transfer portal remains front of mind as Florida continues to patch up its roster ahead of Billy Napier’s third campaign in charge of the team.

The winter transfer portal bars entry to underclassmen after Jan. 2, 2024, although some exceptions are allowed by the NCAA. Schools are allowed to continue recruiting transfer prospects after the portal window closes.
