ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – One pedestrian is dead after being struck during a collision in Alachua County on Tuesday. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 68-year-old man was walking in CR 232 on the eastbound lane around 1 a.m. when a tractor-trailer driver was traveling east on CR 232.
