NCFL county commissioners oppose term limit proposal backed by Florida lawmakers

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Many county commissioners in North Central Florida are upset with a proposal in the state Legislature to create term limits. HB 57 and SB 438 would limit a county commissioner’s term to eight years. The Florida Constitution doesn’t require term limits, but currently 11 counties have one in place.
