North Florida Sewing Center hosts 1st ‘Sustainable Sunday’

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -The North Florida Sewing Center started a new program called “Sustainable SUndays” which take place one Sunday a month. Leaders of the non-profit are trying to clean up the environment one stitch at a time. They say they are trying to figure out ways to replace every day items with things that are reusable, longer lasting and better for the environment. This time they made paperless towels with cloth to replace paper towels.
