Florida made a “great” first impression on 2026 4-star WR Cederian Morgan

Alexander City (Ala.) Benjamin Russell junior Cederian Morgan has emerged as one of the top wide receivers in the 2026 class. Close to 20 schools have offered the 6-foot-5, 210-pound four-star and one of those in Florida .

The Gators had him on campus for the first time Thursday and the SEC program didn’t disappoint.

“Florida made a great first impression,” Morgan told On3. “I got to see everything and my family loved it. The program stood out and another highlight was the academics. They give you the opportunities you need to succeed. I also liked the way the players get treated there. I saw the players all bond with each other and the coaches.”

Morgan is the No. 17 wide receiver and No. 122 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking and he got a lot of time with the coaches on this visit. He spent the most time with wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales .

“Coach Gonzales is not just about football. He is a great person outside of football also. We talked about a lot of things, including football, but the one thing that stood out was how his players are always part of his life. I saw you can always count on coach G for anything.”
