Williston man receives 25-year sentence for Shajon Spikes’ murder

A Williston man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the shooting death of Khajon Spikes at Willy Mart in February 2021. According to an Eighth Judicial Circuit release, Frederick Donnell Williams, 29, was sentenced on Wednesday to 25 years with a 10-year minimum mandatory sentence for second-degree murder. He also received 15 years for an occupant shooting from a vehicle and for shooting or throwing a deadly missile into a dwelling, business or vessels and for tampering with evidence and 15 years for possession of a firearm by a felon with a three-year mandatory sentence.
