GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Some kids came together Saturday afternoon to share some messages with the community during the Cultural Arts Youth Showcase. They did this by dancing, singing and performing skits. All of the kids involved in the show are in the performing arts and between the ages of 11 and 18. One Thousand Voices of Florida held the event, and event organizers say their goal was to really let the kids learn about what goes into putting on a show like this one. They learned about permits and what it requires from the city to put on an event.
