Orlando man pleads guilty to methamphetamine distribution

OCALA, Florida ( MyFloridaNews ) — Desean Williams, a 38-year-old from Orlando, has pleaded guilty to charges of distribution and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Williams faces a minimum of 10 years to life in federal prison, with a sentencing date yet to be scheduled.

According to the plea agreement, Williams distributed approximately 4.5 kilograms of methamphetamine to another individual at a gas station in Marion County on January 31, 2024.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Marion County Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Sarah Janette Swartzberg, stated the United States Attorney’s Office.
