The Florida National Guard says one of their service members is dead after being hit by a driver on the Camp Blanding Military Base Friday morning.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the 38-year-old man from Keystone Heights was walking eastbound on Avenue B just before 7 a.m. when he was hit by a Jeep travelling in the same direction.
He landed on the right shoulder of the road and was pronounced dead on scene…
