Florida basketball has put together one of the best starts in program history this season, starting with a perfect 13-0 record during the non-conference portion of the schedule. Not to mention its lopsided rout of the Tennessee Volunteers which marked the largest margin of victory over a No. 1 team (AP Poll) in 57 years.
The lone blemish on the Gators’ record so far was a 106-100 loss at Rupp Arena against the Kentucky Wildcats to open up the Southeastern Conference schedule. However, despite the loss, Todd Golden’s team still managed to cross the century mark in defeat.
