WILLISTON, Fla. (WCJB) – In Williston, the Rafters Cross Cowboy Church offers more than just sermons—it’s a place where young cowboys and cowgirls hone their rodeo skills. This past weekend, the church hosted a special bull riding and rodeo clown training event, drawing an eager crowd of participants and spectators.
“There are three parts to bull riding,” explained instructor Stephen Bruner. “First, there’s the riding itself—staying on the bull for eight seconds. Then, there’s the protection role, handled by the rodeo clown bullfighter. Lastly, there’s the entertainer, the rodeo clown barrel man who engages the crowd.”
