Florida redshirt freshman cornerback Jameer Grimsley had an ACL revision surgery to his right knee Monday, Swamp247 has learned.
Grimsley, who entered the NCAA’s transfer portal and joined the Gators a year ago shortly after signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide, appeared in two games in 2024, making him eligible for a redshirt.
The 6-foot-2.25, 196-pound Tampa native made his collegiate debut in UF’s 32-point loss at Texas on Nov. 9, where Grimsley logged 15 snaps in a depleted cornerback room that was without starters Jason Marshall Jr. and Devin Moore. His second appearance came against Florida State in the regular season finale, where Grimsley recorded 22 snaps, which ultimately marked his final appearance in 2024…
