Local residents are encouraged to apply for this year’s Citizens’ Academy, which is an 11-week class that provides an in depth look at how the Marion County government operates.
County officials are inviting all residents to register for this year’s Citizens’ Academy, which takes begins March 6 and takes place every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. until the graduation ceremony in early June.
Each week, residents will experience presentations and tours through county departments and offices.
