First Watch, a breakfast and lunch chain that opened last fall in front of Target off Archer Road, now has two locations in Gainesville serving up its chef-driven menu.
The Bradenton-based eatery opened Jan. 20 in front of The Oaks Mall at 6483 W. Newberry Road, previously the home of the now-closed Boston Market restaurant. The Sun first reported in September 2023 that a First Watch was coming to Newberry Road; however, renovations to the building didn’t appear to begin until mid-2024.
