A resident of The Villages has been jailed without bond on drug charges.
Catherine Ridley, 43, who lives in the Village of Fernandina, was in Marion County Court this past week to answer to a charge of driving while license suspended. She was sentenced to seven days already served in the Marion County Jail.
She was arrested on the charge of driving while license suspended on Feb. 19. At the time of that arrest, she had been free on bond as the result of her arrest in December on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
