A 37-year-old man was arrested after a GPS tracker helped Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies find a stolen utility trailer.
On Thursday, February 27, a man contacted MCSO to report that a utility trailer owned by his wife had been stolen from a construction site in Ocala. The man advised that the trailer was last seen two days earlier, and it was valued at around $18,000, according to the arrest report.
The man told MCSO that a toolbox was attached to the stolen trailer, and it contained a GPS tracker. Using that tracker, deputies responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of NE 25th Court in Ocala, where they spotted the stolen trailer in the yard…
