Man sentenced to two life sentences with no possibility of parole for 2022 murder

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Officers with the Alachua Police Department (APD) announced the sentencing of a man found guilty of a murder that took place in Dec. 2022.

Police said Lacorrin Raheem Calhoun, 22, was sentenced to two natural life sentences, one for first-degree murder and one for attempted robbery with a firearm. He also faces a sentence of 30 years for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and he faces no possibility of parole.
