Luis Enrique Quinones, 38, was arrested on March 28 and charged with false imprisonment, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.
The victim told police Quinones became jealous upon hearing her talking to a male co-worker over the phone. Quinones approached the victim while taking a fighting stance and struck her in the face multiple times.
The victim attempted to separate herself from Quinones by locking herself in her bedroom. The victim was unable to close her bedroom because Quinones reportedly tried to force his way inside. The victim went to her bedside table to grab her charger as she was about to leave the residence. Quinones reportedly flipped a mattress on top of her and pinned her to the ground with it. Quinones eventually got off of the mattress and left the scene…
