Another resource is now available to help caregivers in Alachua County get the help they need to take better care of themselves and the people for whom they provide care.
Assurance, a recently launched nonprofit dedicated to supporting caregivers, was established by Virginia Grant, a respected leader in the nonprofit sector.
“I have worked with nonprofits for over 30 years,” Grant said. “Out of college, I served as an HIV outreach coordinator and then went on to serve on multiple community boards, including the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, Community Foundation of North Central Florida, The Rotary and Gainesville Black Professionals.”…
