Man on probation arrested for attacking passing bicyclist

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Shaun Demetrius Williams, 33, was arrested yesterday for allegedly attacking a passing bicyclist and for marijuana possession.

At about 5:45 p.m. on April 9, the victim was riding a bicycle in the 2200 block of NW 6th Street when Williams, who was on foot, started arguing with him and then kicked the rear wheel of his bicycle, causing the victim to stumble and nearly fall. Williams then assumed a fighting stance and held up his fists, and the victim assumed a fighting stance in response…
