Ocala couple accused of burglarizing truck at local dealership

An Ocala couple is facing burglary and theft charges after they allegedly broke into a customer’s pickup truck at a local dealership and stole over $1,500 worth of items from the vehicle.

On Monday, April 7, Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Gator Truck Center of Ocala located at 4235 N U.S. Highway 441 in reference to a burglary incident. An office manager advised that a customer’s truck had been broken into three days earlier, according to the arrest report.

A deputy mentioned in the report that video surveillance footage of the incident showed two suspects, a man and woman, approaching the business at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4. They approached the door before walking to where the customer’s truck was parked…
