GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – GRU’s General Manager Ed Bielarski is justifying an email the utility sent to one customer notifying her of a nearly $300 charge.
A woman posted a screenshot of the email in a Facebook group yesterday, it reads as follows.
“We recently completed a review of our payment history on the above account. Due to the unsatisfactory payment record that has been established, we are requiring an additional deposit in accordance with the Gainesville Code of Ordinance Sec. 27-7(b).
