Bond set at $75,000 for Ocala skating coach accused of molesting children

Nearly two months after he was first arrested and given no bond, an Ocala skating coach accused of molesting multiple children on his team has just had his bond set at $75,000, with a judge barring him from visiting skating establishments and competitions if he makes bail.

On Wednesday, Judge Barbara Kissner Kwatkosky granted a motion to set bond for Richard Hawkins, who is currently facing two sets of child molestation charges in separate cases in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court for Marion County.

During the hearing, Judge Kwatkosky set bond at $50,000 for the count of indecent lewd/lascivious touching of a minor, and $2,500 each for the false imprisonment and open carry of a firearm charges…
