MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The man sought by Marion County deputies over the last week, accused of using a go-kart to run over an elderly woman, has been arrested, according to the sheriff’s office.
Delvon Thornton, 32, was arrested Thursday after being located in a vehicle at the Red Roof Inn on W Highway 40, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said on social media.
Thornton faces charges of aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia, records show…
