An intoxicated woman was jailed after an attack on her neighbor lady.
Francesco Amico, 34, of Summerfield, was apparently intoxicated Tuesday when she attacked her neighbor who had confronted her about drug use, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Amico allegedly punched the other woman, knocking her to the ground. A third woman attempted to intervene and break up the altercation. The woman who had been punched called 911. She had suffered a scratch on her nose where her glasses had been.
Amico was obviously intoxicated and slurring her words. When the deputy read Amico a Miranda Warning, she repeated what the deputy was saying “in a joking matter.” The deputy found that Amico is already on probation for a battery conviction last year…
