A developer is hoping to rezone a nearly 10-acre site in southwest Ocala to create 151 more apartment units, right next to two other properties where that have been approved for 869 other apartments.
A rezoning request from Lake Louise, LLC, will be presented to the Marion County Planning and Zoning Commission during its regular meeting on Monday, April 28.
The property is owned by Lake Louise, LLC, an Ocala-based company registered to John and Shirley Rudnianyn.
Represented by Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc., the Rudnianyns wants to rezone the 9.51-acre property from single-family dwelling (R-1) to planned unit development (PUD) in order to create an additional 151 apartments at the site…
