GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Workers with Green For Life (GFL) Environmental, a waste collection company, took a break from their usual routines on Thursday in Gainesville to celebrate a big honor.
Wilford Cooper, “Coop,” a truck driver who works in Alachua County, was named an honorable mention for the National Driver of the Year award. It’s a prestigious honor from the National Recycling and Waste Association.
