OCALA, FL (352today.com) – After 252 days at Marion County Animal Services (MCAS), this sweet boy took a ride in the passenger seat to visit the North Central Florida Media staff – and won everyone over with his lovable personality.
Axle is an 8-year-old black and white pup weighing in at about 70 pounds. One of the longest residents at MCAS, he came in as a stray back in August of 2024.
During his visit, Axle’s calm and relaxed demeanor shone through. He warmed up quickly to new faces, patiently posed for photos, and remained a gentleman – even when faced with a seemingly endless supply of treats. He knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake,” and he’s always happy to show off his skills for snacks.
Jessica from MCAS assured us that while Axle may appear laid-back, he still has a playful, puppy-like side – especially when his favorite toys come out. He’s still full of life and energy despite a bit of gray around his muzzle…
